Crispy Parmesan Ranch Potatoes

If you're tired of plain old potatoes, get ready for your new favorite side dish! These Crispy Parmesan Ranch Potatoes are unbelievably flavorful and ridiculously easy to make. They get perfectly golden and crispy in the oven, with a savory, zesty kick from the ranch seasoning and salty Parmesan. They'll disappear fast!

Ingredients

Yield: 4 servings

Main

  • 2 lbs small gold or red potatoes, scrubbed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning mix (from a packet)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  2. Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the cut potatoes with olive oil. Toss until the potatoes are evenly coated.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and black pepper over the potatoes. Toss again until all the potatoes are well coated with the seasonings.

  4. Step 4

Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure there's enough space between them for even cooking and crisping.

  5. Step 5

Roast for 25-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until the potatoes are tender on the inside and beautifully golden brown and crispy on the outside.

  6. Step 6

Remove from oven. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

Tips

  • Cutting potatoes into similar-sized pieces ensures they cook evenly.
  • For extra crispiness, don't overcrowd the baking sheet; use two if needed.
  • These potatoes are fantastic with any grilled meat, roasted chicken, or alongside eggs for breakfast.
