  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Preparation

    In a medium saucepan, combine orzo and broth. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low.
